BIRTHdays

Well, this week has been another busy one. Jeremy's birthday was Wed. March 19th. We celebrated the day before at buffalo Wild Wings. This is where he wants to go every year for his birthday. My parents came and his mom and sister came. It was a really nice celebration. I made a pineapple upside down cake for dessert. I got him a rug that is shaped like a man hole cover since he works for the waste water treatment plant. He really liked it. I've also been getting things ready for Miriam's birthday party next Sat. My baby turns 6 on March 28th. Why??

Well, a 3 years ago a friend of mine had her son on my husbands b-day and now my client finally had her baby on that day too. March 19th was her due date and it is so rare to actually have your baby on your due date. The birth went really well. She had very bad back labor because the baby was facing the wrong way. She wanted to go natural and made it sooo far. She finally could no longer take it and begged for the epi. We tried to talk her out of it, but she finally got one. I have a hard time being very tough with these women. Once she got that, she was complete in 2 hours. I think I could have helped her make it that much longer. Anyway, she pushed extremely well and despite the fact that it was her first baby and she was posterior, she pushed her out in just 45 minutes. It was a very rewarding experience and the mom and dad were very happy. My next client is not due until late May so I get a break now.

My pregnancy is still going well and I am already feeling better. Just a little queasy here and there. I'm going to try to add a ticker for those of you that asked!
